For years, we spent every working day designing better products for consumers. We pored over UX, UI, and user-testing. Tons of time and energy was devoted to giving these customers the best experience possible.
But at the same time, we hated our own internal tools. Managing our schedules, planning projects, collaborating, and generally running the business felt painful by comparison.
Uploading our expenses nearly made us quit our jobs.
It felt like the business world was missing a trick. We knew the impact of making apps easier to use for consumers – every £1 invested in user experience returns £100 back. But could it have the same impact on the tools we use at work?
So we set up YaYa to make it easier for people to work smarter by making the tools we use for work as easy as the apps we use for everything else.

Co-Founder
I head up all user interface design, overseeing our designers and making sure everything we produce meets our standards of enjoyability, value and usability. I designed our UI benchmarking framework and lead on the prototyping during Design Sprints. After years of working in consulting, start-ups, and agencies, I’ve wanted to apply that expertise to internal tools.
Co-Founder
Using 30 years of project experience at partner level for the likes of PWC, IBM, and KPMG, I bring oversight across all our projects and business operations, making sure they’re delivered well and to each client’s expectations. My background is in leading and building multi-disciplinary consulting teams, managing P&L, talent, alliances, acquisitions and much more.
Lead Project Manager
I’m responsible for making sure our studio and all our projects run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
UI Designer
I make sure all our tools look and feel as good as the apps people use outside of work and benchmarking UI during our assessment phase.
This year I'm going to stop calling Pedro (the office dog), Pablo!
Head Of Data Science
As an expert in data visualisation, my role is to understand the way data flows through organisations - and the structure and tools needed to go from dashboard to action-oriented tool. I’m responsible for data analysis during assessment, plugging data into our tools and visualisation during design. I’ve run my own startup and consulted for years with some of the UK’s biggest businesses, helping them use data to improve their operational efficiency.
This year, I plan to break the top 50 for squash players in London.
UX Designer
I’m an expert workshop facilitator and problem solver, who specialises in helping people achieve their potential through digital tools. I led the product team at an HR technology platform for years after spending the first part of my career as a consultant implementing people analytics solutions to global businesses and sports teams.
This year I plan to cycle up Stelvio Pass in the Italian Alps.
When the world of work suddenly shifted, your digital tools became the difference between surviving and thriving.
